We thought it looked good enough to try. So we did!

At first it sounded like a lot of work to me from the title. But it was actually very easy. Here is a link to the recipe.

In the recipe it calls for Bakewell Cream, which is King Arthur’s own brand. We actually used cream of tartar in place of it. The recipe says to omit the baking soda and substitute 2 tsp of baking soda. We also substituted 1/2 lb of turkey bacon for real bacon. All in all, this recipe was quick and easy. And the kids loved it as well.

Hope You Enjoy!

Disclaimer: I was not compensated for this post. I was just sharing something good to eat! I am not affiliated with KAF, i just like some of there stuff.

The boys and I made a trip to Walmart to pick some up. We always like quick-lunch ideas. They are not sold in every store, but here is a link to check if they are at yours. Tyson Store Locator. If your store has them give them a try. Also they have a promotion for a Buy 2 get a $5 Walmart gift card.

We had them for lunch when we got home from the store. They were quick and definitely good. I’m not always a fan of microwave food, usually they don’t taste great to me. These may changed my mind. They were juicy and delicious.

I think these would be awesome for a quick-lunch to keep in the fridge at work. Check out these simple instructions. The boys liked them, we even grab them out for a quick snack and divide 2 sandwiches into 4 halves. Add a few Cheetos and they bring smiles!

Last night we went to Walmart on a
mission. Winterize the Lawn Mower! Me and the Boys bundled up, loaded up and drove to our local Super Center.

We purchased STP Multipurpose Motor Treatment. Reviews were very good for this product online. Plus it was cheaper than Sea Foam. I’ve never been too impressed with Sea Foam either. I’m sure it’s a great product. Just not for me.

We arrived at the store and of course, all the toys were at the door, so we got sidetracked there for a bit. Then on the way to Automotive, we had to make a stop in the Toy aisle. But we got to see a rare site in Walmart. An aisle with no-one in it!

Anyways we finally got to the Promised Land and found a huge display of fuel and oil related products. We quickly found what we were looking for and did a little comparison. The STP Multipurpose Motor Treatment protects both your Oil and Fuel systems. So i got to thinking.
The car is idling a little rough, should i get an extra bottle and go add it to the tank and fill up the car. Yup I will.

So after selecting our Product we grabbed a few snacks for the weekend and headed to the Check-Out. If you go like STP’s Facebook page you can get a $2 off mail-in Rebate, Check it out here. Also for upcoming deals follow them on Twitter Here.

OK, the good stuff. For the Car i added a whole can to the Gas tank before filling it. I have driven almost 300 miles and the car is actually idling a whole lot better. I was very happy about that.

For the Lawnmower; We added STP to the Oil which was just changed for winter. The can states 1.5oz per Quart of Oil. Check your mower manual for exact capacity. This will help our oil stay stable through the cold days ahead. It also removes moisture from within the crankcase as well. Then to protect the fuel we had left in it we added some to the Gas tank too. The bottle says 3/4 oz per Gallon of fuel.

If you don’t have a measuring cup make one like i did.I used an old mason jar, filled it with 4 oz of water in 1 oz increments and marked each ounce with a Sharpie. Works like a charm, and i wont have to buy my wife a new Measuring cup for the house.

Here is a quick rundown of what this stuff does. I borrowed it from their website.

For Engines in Storage

STP® Multipurpose Motor Treatment does not contain water absorbing alcohol like other fuel stabilizers and helps prevent many of the negative side effects that can happen when engines sit idle for long periods of time. It helps:

Stabilize fuel

Fight rust build up in fuel tank

Prevent oxidative degradation in fuel

Fight tough cold starts

Prevent corrosion in the fuel line

For Engines in Use

Great for the fuel system, crankcase and intake, STP® Multipurpose Motor Treatment helps:

Clean engine deposits and fight friction

Clean fuel injectors and intake valves

Protect against viscosity build up

Protect against crankcase sludge

Prevent fuel line freeze by removing water

Provide upper cylinder lubrication

Use regularly to protect and maintain all of your gas and diesel engines.

All in All, I am very happy with this product. As someone who does all his own mechanic work, I definitely would use it again. It was easy and straightforward to use. If you would like to see all my pictures pertaining to this trip Check out my Google+ Album.
First of all I like meat, especially Hamburger. For a while now the quality of or Beef supply seems to be slowly progressing southward. I think a lot of it comes from the increased use of corn products to feed the animals. Thats another topic though. I have been looking for alternatives to this processed hamburger. So i directly think of Chicken. A wonderful little meat it is! Very versatile, quick to cook and can be used for substitution pretty much anywhere. We recently was given 40lbs of Chicken from Zaycon Foods. Let me say this is some yummy Chicken. I took a whole breast and diced it to replace the hamburger, Added a little Sweet Onion, and at the end about 1/2c of Picante Sauce. What a surprise!

Ingredients:

Velveeta Ultimate Cheeseburger Mac boxed dinner. (Kraft Product Locator Page)

Med Sweet Onion

1/2c Picante Sauce

Directions:

Follow the directions on the box, substituting Diced Onion and Chicken for the Hamburger.

Add the Picante Sauce to the cooked Chicken and Onions.

Add a Salad, or anything else you would like.

Enjoy!

Enjoys this Slideshow of my cooking process!
